When Ludia was acquired by Jam City for a time, I was the main Art Lead on the Ludia titles, including Jurassic World Alive, which became one of my favorite titles to work on. We got to experiment a lot and we opened new revenue avenues for a game that was already a bit long in the dinosaur tooth at the time.
On top of leading the UA, Social and ASO aspects of the game, I had the great fortune of getting to work on some large scale Brand trailers and not only pitch concepts, but lend my services as a video editor to those trailers and work alongside the exceptional team at Tippett Studios, which, for a movie nerd like myself, was pretty amazing.
As a young kid, I saw Jurassic Park in theaters and it changed me forever. It unlocked a love of films and filmmaking in me and the wonder that they can provide when at they are at their best. So, having the chance to play within the franchise felt like getting the chance to be a five year old again and play in a sandbox full of your most coveted dinosaur toys. It was a really special experience and I encouraged all of my team to approach it with a similar enthusiasm for play and wonder.
Daily responsibilities included:
Leading brainstorms, conceptualizing, creating videos and providing direction, feedback and approvals and working cross functionally with other departments.
